Motor for Xiaomi M365
This is the main motor that powers the Xiaomi M365 electric scooter. You can use it with either air-filled tyres (pneumatic) or solid tyres, giving you a choice based on how you ride.
The pneumatic tyre gives you a smoother ride but can get flat. The solid tyre never goes flat but feels a bit harder when riding.
M365 Motor Performance Overview
This motor sits inside your scooter's rear wheel. It's what we call a hub motor, meaning it's built right into the wheel itself. When you press the throttle, it spins to move you forward. When you brake, it helps charge your battery a bit through regenerative braking.
The Xiaomi M365 motor gets you up to 15.5 mph about 25 kph. It can handle hills up to 14% grade.
M365 Scooter Motor Replacement Guide
If you know how to deal with scooter maintenance, you’ll need basic tools to install it. Remember to connect the wires right (they're color-coded). Make sure to tighten all bolts properly. Keep your old motor until you're sure the new one works right
This motor is a direct replacement for your M365's original motor. It's not more powerful than the original, but it gets you back on the road when your old motor needs replacing.
